I'm Brandon Wood, Principal Product Designer at Oracle, where I lead AI and product design across multiple enterprise sectors including hospitality, government, banking, retail, food and beverage, and healthcare.
My work focuses on establishing AI interaction patterns across diverse industries and contexts. I partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to define how AI should function in high-stakes environments where mistakes have real consequences.
My design philosophy is rooted in understanding what users are trying to accomplish and optimizing based on how often they do it. I use the minimum UI necessary to help users achieve their goals, removing anything that doesn't directly serve the task. In enterprise software, I measure success not just by features shipped, but by unnecessary features kept out of products.
I have over 12 years of experience in B2B and consumer product design and have held roles in graphic design, digital marketing, creative direction, and account management. This experience helps me think holistically about solving problems and building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. I enjoy working in ambiguous problem spaces where constraints force creative solutions.
I'm motivated by high-stakes work where design decisions affect real outcomes. I'm currently open to principal IC or staff roles at companies working on AI, design systems, or enterprise products where strategic thinking and execution both matter.
